Our Story
Menehhune Beach Wear was born in 2002 in São Vicente, on the coast of São Paulo, Brazil. Our name comes from the Hawaiian legend of the menehune — tiny beings, rarely seen, said to shoot arrows that fill people with love. That is the feeling we want every piece to carry: the pleasure of wearing Menehhune.
Inspired by the ocean, the sand and surf culture, we design authorial prints and a fit our customers come back for, season after season — now also on the court, with our Beach Tennis line.
Our mission is to create fashion with identity, quality and comfort. Our values: authenticity, freedom, creativity, quality, comfort, connection with the ocean and Brazilian identity.
Shipping
All orders ship from our studio in São Vicente, Brazil, by air with international carriers such as DHL and FedEx.
- Processing: your order is picked, quality-checked and packed after payment is confirmed.
- Cost and delivery time: calculated at checkout from your address, the weight of your order and the service you choose, and shown before you pay.
- Tracking: once your order ships, you receive a tracking number by email.
- Duties and taxes: depending on your country, customs may charge import duties or taxes on delivery. Unless checkout states they are included, these are paid by the recipient.
Returns & Exchanges
You may request a return or exchange within 7 days of delivery by writing to ivan@menehhune.com.br with your order number.
- Items must be unworn and unwashed, with original tags and packaging. For hygiene reasons, swim bottoms must be tried on over underwear and returned with the hygienic liner in place.
- Once we receive and inspect the item, the refund goes to your original payment method.
- Exchanges for another size or print depend on stock availability.
- If an item arrives defective or different from your order, we cover the return shipping. In other cases, return shipping is paid by the customer.
Swimwear Care
- Rinse in cold fresh water after each use to remove salt, chlorine, sand and sunscreen.
- Hand wash with mild soap. Do not wring.
- Dry flat in the shade — never in a dryer or in direct sun.
- Do not iron, bleach or dry clean.
- Avoid rough surfaces such as pool edges and rocks, which can damage the fabric.

This store is operated by Menehhune Beach Wear (L P TOPP - CONFECÇÕES, CNPJ 29.280.416/0001-92), Rua Freitas Guimarães, 669 — Itararé, São Vicente – SP, 11320-080, Brazil. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
- Prices are shown in US dollars and may change without notice. The price charged is the one displayed when you place your order.
- Orders are subject to availability and acceptance. If an item becomes unavailable, we will contact you and refund any amount paid for it.
- Product images: colors may vary slightly depending on your screen.
- Payments are processed by secure third-party providers; we never store your full card details.
- Intellectual property: prints, photos, texts and logos on this site belong to Menehhune and may not be used without permission.
- Governing law: these terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence.
Privacy Policy
We collect only the data needed to process your order and serve you: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, and order history. Payment data is handled directly by our payment providers.
- How we use it: to fulfil and deliver orders, provide support, prevent fraud and, if you subscribe, send our newsletter.
- Who we share it with: only the payment, e-commerce and shipping providers needed to complete your order. We do not sell your personal data.
- Cookies: used to keep your cart, remember preferences and understand how the site is used. You can manage cookies in your browser.
- Your rights: you may request access, correction or deletion of your data, or unsubscribe from emails at any time, in line with the LGPD, GDPR and other applicable laws.
- Retention: we keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
California Privacy
If you live in California, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know which personal information we collect and how we use it, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
